In a June 26, Cable News Network (CNN) anchor and "Catholic" Chris Cuomo, claimed that society does not need the help of God in clearing up the problems and crises our world is currently facing. According to reports:

"CNN anchor Chris Cuomo, who claims to be a Catholic, said during his show on June 26 that Americans don't need the help of God. 'If you believe in one another and if [you] do the right thing for yourself and your community, things will get better in this country,' he said. 'You don't need help from above. It's within us.' ...

"By saying that Americans 'don't need help from above,' Cuomo directly contradicted numerous Bible passages. 'Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you,' Christ said according to the Gospel of Matthew." (Source: LifeSiteNews.com; emphasis added)

As a Catholic, Chris Cuomo is promoting a society that separates God from the common good. Our country is already in crisis, and we have seen what happens when countries attempt to make secular utopias: Cuba, Cambodia, the former USSR and the People's Republic of China. Do we want our country to follow this path to secular "enlightenment?" Please sign our petition to Chris Cuomo, urging him to retract his statement against God's help.
