The book, Return to Order, deals with a reckless and restless spirit inside modern economy referred to as frenetic intemperance. It deals with the desire to throw off all restraints and gratify all passions. Those affected by frenetic intemperance often desire the latest and greatest, the biggest and the best, as a projection of their unrestraint. It is the contrary of balanced consumption.
An example of frenetic intemperance can be seen in Samsung’s recent announcement that it will begin selling a 110-inch 4K TV in China, the Middle East and a few European countries. The set eclipses Samsung’s 85-inch model that retails for $39,999. The new toy is reported to cost some $150,000.
The monster screen is undoubtedly the biggest and best around. Billed the world’s 
largest 4K TV, it is actually bigger than a king size bed and has four times the pixels of a 1080 HDTV.
