On April 10, 2025 the City of San Francisco erected a 45 foot tall statue of a nude woman at the Embarcadero Plaza in San Francisco. Called “R-Evolution,” the statue was originally released in a “Burning Man” festival — an annual “art” event in Nevada where clothing is optional and public nudity is welcome. This statue is in an area of large foot traffic — in clear view of the public! According to reports:
” ‘R-Evolution,’ a 45-foot-tall sculpture of a naked woman that was originally slated to be unveiled in Union Square [San Fransico], now towers above a different part of the city. The statue, the work of artist Marco Cochrane, was instead erected along the San Francisco Embarcadero…
” With plans for the Union Square unveiling halted, the decision was made to put the statue up on the Embarcadero across from the SF Ferry Building. R-Evolution was officially unveiled at the Embarcadero on Thursday, April 10 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.”

One Bay Area report even complained: “One of several problems with R-Evolution is that we are all the audience for this thing, and no one asked us if we wanted it.” (KQED .org) But, the real problem is this: nudity is on display as something normal , and will be seen by hundreds of families and impressionable children.
We must voice our opposition to the San Francisco Recreation & Parks to have this statue removed. This work would incur the just wrath of God who detests unabashed immorality as well as the corruption of our youth. Before God and history, you and I must oppose the normalization of nudity. Once nudity becomes generally accepted, civilization is dead.
Please sign our petition, urging San Francisco Recreation & Parks to remove this nude statue from public property.
