A new Satanic “Christmas” display is in the Minnesota State Capitol, under Gov. Tim Walz’s watch. This display, apparently made to resemble a flaming phoenix, features a Satanic inverted pentagram, while a plaque reads, “YOU ARE YOUR OWN GOD” in English and Latin. Also included is a prayer written by occultist Alistair Crowley. According to reports:

This display is a direct attack against God and religion. Instead of celebrating the redemptive coming of Christ and the worship due to Him, this display pushes for the glorification of self and the deification of sinful man. Christ alone is the Light of the World, and reliance on the secular solutions of fallen men have led to the worst atrocities in history.

I am appalled that Satanists are allowed to promote ungodliness on state property with a public monument. This is the more egregious, as it deliberately comes at a time when families across the country are celebrating the coming of Christ.

Satanism is not a religion, and no one should give honor to the devil or sin. Most dangerously, this is a serious offense against God. It is a mockery of Christ's coming, and normalizes vice and evil.

I request that this display be immediately removed.
