The Satanic Temple of New Hampshire recently installed a Satanic monument in Concord, New Hampshire’s City Plaza, just in front of the statehouse building to counter a Christian nativity scene, on Saturday, December 7. Members of the Satanic movement placed a life-sized image of a black figure, which is part goat and part man, dressed in a black robe and cowl, and wearing a sash on its shoulders. The sash has inverted crosses and the Satanic Temple logo, and the figure carries an apple in its hand to celebrate the fall of man. The statue was destroyed and the remnants removed, but this should never be allowed. According to reports:

“Satanists installed a demon at the City Plaza outside the Statehouse on Saturday afternoon…

“Last month [November 2024], the temple reportedly requested the demon be installed at the Statehouse. The organization then petitioned the city late last month for a permit.

“City Manager Tom Aspell said a meeting was held with councilors and legal counsel about the issue, and councilors approved the permit to be installed after the Christmas Tree Lighting and Midnight Merriment events.”

This is the state of the world right now. People are doing all they can to remove the Prince of Peace, but they have no problem honoring the Prince of Darkness for Christmas. Satanism is not a religion, and honoring the devil is a horrible sin. Acts like these predisposes our nation to vice and breaks the barriers of horror society should have for the devil. We must show our rejection of this abomination. Please sign our petition, requesting that Satanic monuments be forbidden on state property!

To: Concord City Council, New Hampshire,

I am appalled that Satanists are allowed to promote the devil and sin on state property with a display at the Concord Statehouse. This offense if worse that it comes at this time when families across the country are preparing to celebrate the coming of Christ.

Satanism is not a religion, and no one should give any honor to the devil or vice. Satanism runs counter to reason and morality. An image honoring the devil should never be allowed, least of all on the public property of the law.

Above all, this is a serious offense against God. It is a mockery of Christ's coming, and normalizes the enemy to salvation.

I request that all such demonic displays be forbidden on state property. Celebrate the Prince of Peace, not the Prince of Darkness!

Sincerely and urgently,
